Miss Amy: Clarksville, Tennessee
Today we travel to Clarskville, Tennessee to speak with Amy Gallo who is a volunteer at the heart of many organizations and a force of nature. She lost her husband to a plane crash on December 12, 1985 as he was returning home, along with 247 soldiers, from a peace keeping mission in the Sinai Peninsula.
In the ensuing 35 years, she has become a source of wisdom, healing and upliftment for the extended circle of people whose lives were forever changed by that crash. I couldn't resist reaching out to see how Miss Amy was weathering this new storm and hear her take on COVID-19.
As always, she is front and center looking out for others. She reflects on how people are being so much nicer, even on Facebook. She advises us all to reach out, smile at people, and just appreciate the gift of this slow down time.
